The day after Xmas after the ding dong and the be merry we have a bit of time to rest and to make sense of the end of this year. For many it’s been an effort to get to this point and we have had to draw on our reserves of hope. The good news is that every drop of kindness, the miracles of the day, the company of people we love and cherish, replenish our reserves of hope
This is when we realise that Love is all we need! Those little things that make our life so good. As for the Boxing Day it’s a nice time to indulge in a long warm bath, or reading that Christmas book, and being creative with the turkey leftovers.
Moving our hoes forward, this is a nice time to count our blessings. And the creative oracle suggests the following:
-Make a collage of the year: start by drawing a timeline of what happened in the year, the lows and highs, and make sure of counting our blessings. Stick bits of wrapping paper, old Christmas cards and glitter. Try to do it with the family, so together have a rich picture of what happened and the many things to be grateful.
-In preparation for next year, try to think of the things you’d like to turn: imagine as if there were no obstacle. What would you like to change. Don’t sweat it too much, just let your feelings to guide you. Sometimes it’s not so much about doing but about being. Are you at a turning point?
